About

My name is Samira and cancer has touched my heart. When I was 16 years old my father was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. He fought against the sickness for two years and unfortunately lost his battle. It is now my ambition to help those struggling with this challenge. My blog is specifically geared towards kids coping with their parent’s cancer; however, many posts relate to anyone who has been affected by cancer. The posts on this blog pertain to all genders and ages.

Please note that my blog has my feelings and opinions that some readers may not agree with. I talk about my own experiences and stories, but please keep in mind everyone has a different cancer story.

  1. Wow! This blog is great! I love the 5 coping techniques and the honesty of your writing:) I will be sure to pass this along to all my friends and family.

  2. Love the blog samira. You really have matured into a 36 year-old from being my sweet, simple 16-year old sister. Your father would have been very proud. Love you loads.

  3. Thank you for sharing your experiences! I came across this blog by chance, and found it very heart-warming. Your writing is amazing and it takes a brave person to experience, let alone write about, those memories at such a young age.
